"For me, connection is impossible without curiosity about other humans. As I evolved as an artist, I found that what clients wanted from the photos they commissioned me for was to have powerful, deeply meaningful photos." 

I grew up in Poland where getting married meant more than 2 days of celebrations and I learned to capture those special moments that we later held as special memories.
Having had the opportunity to photograph these memories for my own family as well as for the very neighbors I grew up around most of my life, I have learned to find the connection between the people I am capturing the moment for. Later, moving to the United States, I am lucky to still be doing what I love.  
I founded Andrew Gilewicz Photography in 2008 and I am based in Philadelphia but I travel all over the worldwide.

I know that each wedding has its own tempo, its own feeling, and has a little bit of magic built right in. My goal as a wedding photographer is to show off that magical feeling through emotive photos. Classic, timeless and modern. That’s my style, and my priority is to keep couples comfortable which allows me to document images in an unobtrusive, fun and artistic way. I am drawn to capturing genuine and loving moments that drive my photographic passion.
